Updating Xbox One / Big Problem

As for your console, if you could please do a power cycle on your console, this should fix it. Please see instructions below:

1. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds until the console turns off.

2. Wait for 30 seconds, then disconnect the power from the wall socket.

3. Wait a further 30 seconds, then reconnect the console and turn it on. It may take a bit longer than usual to start up.

4. Sign in and you should be good to go.

Have you possibly tried installing the game to your internal storage to see if there's any change with the update process? Also, keep in mind that if you cancel an update you'll need to re-install the game.

What message do you receive when a game fails to load?, and does your console not read any disc's at all (even DVDs)?.

Take a look at this guide for disc read errors OP. Something in there may help.

You bought a new console you will no longer have access to the beta. The funds on the account will only be able to be used when fall update is released sometime this fall to the public.

Please visit this page here and take a look at your account balance, does it show up in points or currency (this cannot be undone)?

If the balance is showing as currency then it means the following:

You're either on the Xbox Beta Dashboard (you have the "Beta" channel bar on your dashboard), OR you've downloaded your profile onto a console that has the beta update
and it's converted your points to currency. You will only be able to purchase content from that console that you downloaded your profile to that has the beta for the time being.

be able to access the beta forums located here.

Please Note: You can only gain access to the beta forums if you have the "beta" channel on your Xbox 360 Dashboard. Only the person who ran the beta registration application
will have access to the forums using their gamertag. No other gamertags will be able to access the forums.
Since beta registration is now closed, it's not possible to get another console into the beta so you'd need to wait until the beta is released to the public
later this year (Fall 2013) to make any purchases, or visit anyone's house you know of that also has this beta update to make purchases on their console for the time being.
