Updating to Windows 10 and launching Minecraft on XBOX ONES

I'm not sure I understand your question. What does updating a Computer to Windows 10 have to do with Xbox One?

Where are you playing Minecraft? updating to windows 10 on pc does not affect xbox one gaming, your question is kinda confusing.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are inquiring about Minecraft not launching on your console.

There are currently four version of "Minecraft" on the Xbox across the Xbox platforms:

1. Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. This is no longer being supported, however, there are occasionally texture
   packs that are released for this version. This version is not backwards compatible.
2. Minecraft Xbox One Edition. This is the version that was originally released on the Xbox
   One. There was a promo a long time ago that allowed you to get the game discounted if you owned the Xbox 360 Edition, and transfer certain DLC packs over to this version.This version is no longer being supported.
3. Minecraft. This is the new version that is currently being updated, and supported. It is also
   referred to as the "Bedrock Edition" There was a promotion in the past that allowed you to update to this version for free if you
   
   met certain requirements. This promotion is still ongoing. This version is not an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
4. Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. This is a version that was released to complement the other
   versions of Minecraft running the "Bedrock Edition" This allows you to play with others using this Bedrock version but not with anyone using "Java Edition" This version is not an Xbox Play Anywhere title.

There are other versions of Minecraft, but these are the most relevant to your thread.
