Updating to OS version 10.0.10586.1006 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151107-2322) fre will get error E100 ...

Hello Xbox One community,

I am obtaining error "E100 0000070C 8B05000F" when applying the Xbox One New Experience update version "10.0.10586.1006 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151107-2322) fre" from OS version "6.2.13332.0 (xb_rel_1508.150903-2141) fre." I tried OSUDT2 offline update to recover
and got a E101 00000504 80070570 error. Used OSDT1 file as well and got the same error again. The only file that goes through (the famous double chirp when updating offline) is the OSUDT3, but, I continue to get the "E100 0000070C 8B05000F" error. I was able
to default it and get it to work fine, but, when I try to perform the "New Experience" update (update version "10.0.10586.1006 (th2_xbox_rel_1510.151107-2322) fre") it fails with, again, error "E100 0000070C 8B05000F."

Is this release hardware specific? Will there be a OSUDT# file that I can use to perform the update to the new OS version offline?

I am now under the impression that this update is hardware specific, thinking, that by now Microsoft is on their 2nd or 3rd generation of the Xbox One hardware.

xbox crashing while trying to update

So my xbox started updating and I let it it says "applying update" then when it gets to 55% it says "Something went wrong" System Error: E100 0000070C 8B05000F Help plz.

 

XB1 Wont update

Not to hijack the thread but I am having the same issue so I figured I would keep it consolidated. I am participating in the Preview Program so I have had the new dashboard for a while but now that everyone has it I still haven't recieved the final update
so I am stuck with the buggy beta.

BUMP! I definitely need an answer to this, the NXOE killed my network adapter and so I'm unable to join any password protected network. I was hoping to restore to OS 6 using the OSUDT3, but if it fails to reapply the os10 version. I think ill wait for the
os10 OSUDT to be released

 

I am receiving the same error code while a system update was being applied. Is there a fix for this or is it hardware related?

 

Unfortunately if you are getting the error I was experiencing, then you will have no choice but to send the console for a replacement. For your network adapter problem, are you using your wireless adapter or your console's wired LAN card? If your are using
your console's WAN card, then plug up a RJ-45 CAT 5e cable and confirm if you get network connectivity. One thing you can do is set it back to defaults and try again. It could be that the firmware and driver of the WAN card did not applied correctly. I do
not believe you can restore to the old OS after the update to v10. I would recommend to chat with the support techs at MS so they can further guide you.

 

This is fast becoming a regular occurrence

It all very well these MS employees apologising.... But the fact is these consoles are getting bricked by system updates, should be a free fix for everyone (in or out of warranty)
