Updating games on xbox app downloading that game

Hello, I have a problem with the Xbox app updating games. when I try to update any game (does not matter which one is, it is the same for every game) I am downloading the whole game. I do not know why is this happening but it is kinda annoying please help me with it thank you.

This is the proof of it. My friend just downloaded 1 gb on steam. I do not get it why do I need to download 45.6 gb instead of 1 gb.

Hi Pawer 8,

You will need to update Windows to 1903 in order to download the Xbox (beta) app game launcher and then you will be able to download games available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If the update is not being offered in your Windows update settings, try running
the Xbox (beta) app installer and it should also walk you through updating Windows.

If you still can't update Windows to download the app, then try using the Update Assistant: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

you're right, forgive me. To verify files in the Xbox app, you can follow these steps:

Open the Xbox app on your Windows 10 PC.

Click on the three horizontal lines in the top-left corner of the app to open the menu.

Click on "Downloads" from the menu.

In the "Downloads" section, you should see a list of all the games and apps you have downloaded from the Xbox app.

Find the game or app you want to verify and click on it.

If the game or app needs to be updated, click the "Update" button first.

Once the update is complete, click the "Verify" button next to the game or app.

The verification process will check the game or app files to make sure they are all present and correct.

Found the issue! There was an update to this game queued in the 'Downloads and Updates' section of the Microsoft Store. I think the update was stuck there in limbo, as I'd uninstalled the game. Downloading the update now - and now it shows up as downloading
in the Xbox app.

Sorry to hear it. Please double check that the computer does not need any updates. If it does then update the computer then try downloading again.

If you still cannot download the games via the Xbox Beta App then please launch the Store App and try downloading the games from there.

This might be an issue with the app itself! I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!
