    So I have an issue where anytime a game I own receives a title update the download begins automatically, reaches some percentage (usually 25-60%) completion, then says installation stopped. Hitting resume install results in a queue loop that ends in installayion
    stopped with no progress Gaines. This has been happening since december and I am not part of the preview program. I have opened multiple tickets with support that all end up closed after I fully uninstall, hard cycle the Xbox, then reinstall the content.

    This happens to me anytime any game gets an update at all whether I have the physical disc or I purchased it digitally. I have called support about the issue dozens of times and the solution is always the same. Completely uninstall the product, hard cycle
    the box, and reinstall the product from scratch. This solution is unacceptable. My ISP has data limits imposed and I can't afford to reinstall 6 games a month just because a 100mb update gets pushed. Support insists the problem is related to my network. This
    is completely unacceptable given the lack of issues on all other platforms and I plan to continue calling support but thought I would try my luck at the forums. I have done everything from a full factory reset to anything the support techs dreamed up. I refuse
    to continue uninstallijg and reinstalling entire products over small updates and Microsoft needs to fix the issue or offer full refunds on all my digital content allowing me to pick up hard copies of each game. While the hard copies suffer the same issue the
    data is not as big an issue on reinstalling only updates as it is on installing entire games each time.

    Everytime there is an update the entire game has to reinstall.

    Most recent update is for 4.2 GB however it's currently updating 64.81 GB.

    Why????

    Hi there,

    Thank you for reaching out to us with this issue. Can you tell us if this is a physical copy of the game or digital? Let's try uninstalling the content, power down the console, unplug the console and router for five full minutes, and reinstall the content.
    Try starting the content and let us know how that goes for you.

    I'm having this same issue... on with a worthless customer support agent who is just having me jump through hoops. At first I didn't mind because it was just on games I wasn't actively playing... now I can't play current games because of this stupid issue.

    Still having this issue. It now includes quite a few dashboard apps like twitch preventing me from streaming or watching shows through my console.

    I too am having this issue, but it is occurring with my disc games. I just got an update notification for Dragon Age Inquisition and keep getting stuck with installation stopped. I was also having this problem with COD AW which I purchased digital.

    Just happened with Dragon Age today. It hasn't done this with any arcade titles yet. Of course customer support ran me through the gauntlet of, restarting, clearing and reseting before blaming me for the issue.

    Happened to me on magic 2015 so arcade titles are included. I have also calles customer support again and they have once again blamed me for poor network settings. It's a shame that they don't even acknowledge the problem. Saying "we are aware of the problem
    and have no known solution" goes a long way in customer service...

    Exact same for me, Dragon age inquisition had an update the other day, apparently like 4gb or so, that should take my internet maybe 1-2 hours tops. 5-6 hours later it's on about 30%! It's like the Xbox is trying to reinstall the entire game every time there
    is an update. I can't be bothered to waste my time ringing up customer support to just tell me to hard reset then uninstall and reinstall, as I'm currently in the process or reinstalling the entire game. It's not just dragon age I've had this problem with
    its all the digital games it seems like, disc based games I own do seem to be quicker for some reason... It's been like this for a while now too. Any help would be much appreciated

    Since support isn't helping. Is anyone else with this issue using an external HD? Just as a test I'm moving all my games back to the internal and I'm going to disconnect my external to see if it still does it.
