Updating any game on the Xbox app on PC results in the entire game re-installing

I've tried this now through the windows store, however even here the entire game is being downloaded and installed again.

Same problem here: I started Forza, a 2 GB update started to download and after that, the entire game began to be download ... AGAIN (3rd time in 3 weeks)!

Try to update your games manually. You can do this via the Microsoft Store, you should be able to access updates from the top right corner of the store just the same every other Windows Store apps are updated.

By game updates, are you meaning the title updates? In that case, you probably need to re-install the entire title. I've not seen any option to only clear the title update.

This is different from installed DLC, which you should be able to uninstall through Games & Apps>Games>press [Menu] on Battlefield>Manage Game

Thanks for keeping us updated. We recommend manually logging off of both the Xbox companion app and windows. Afterwards, power cycle your PC and then re-sign into windows and then the xbox app. Launch Minecraft and then let us know the results.
