    I recently changed my email address for xbox live so I could delete the previous email account associated with the xbox account. I went in and changed the email address to a gmail account and then marked my hotmail address that I no longer wanted for deletion. When
    doing this apparently my original xbox account was not just updated, but it was closed and a new account was created. I lost all of my content associated with the original account and after speaking to multiple customer service reps have been told that it's
    gone and there is nothing that can be done about it. This seems absolutely ridiculous as all they should have to do is look up the old account and find the purchase history and apply it to the new account. Has anybody else had this issue and had success in
    getting a reasonable resolution other than just being told you are out of luck?

    Account Suspended from Online Multiplayer unfairly & undeserved

    Yeah,sorry,i misread that.

    It really would be better to have your own account to be honest.

    If your brother keeps getting suspended eventually the account will get permanently banned & you'll lose all digital content tied to that account.

    If you've paid for any of that content then you are the one who will lose out

    If you have just changed the email address associated with your live account nothing of the sort would happen. Make sure you haven't registered a completely new account (which lacks the purchases made in the first account)

    Absolute is definitely correct on this. According to the contract you signed with Microsoft when signing up for live (even a silver account) or when applying a dashboard update, you lose the right to your content once your account is banned. Alternately,
    you do not own the product that you paid for but rather the right to use it once paid for. By doing whatever it is that you did to get banned, your right to use the content was revoked.

    Not trying to be rude or anything, but, if you paid to Microsoft you can use it on GFWL; if you paid to Steam they're the ones that can help you, so, i'd recommend you to check if steam can do something for you or "lose" the content (it will be in your
    account), it's your choice~
