Updating 360 profile name

When you first create a GamerTag, I think MS assigns a random name to it, but you have an option to change it to something more personal, but only once. If you want to change again after that, there is a cost.

Hi there. The LIVE system does not allow more than one profile to share the same Windows Live ID, although glitches can happen. So, are you sure you're using the same credential information (email address and password) linked to your main profile to sign
into xbox.com? If so and you're still being logged into "Flushercurves" then what you will need to do is quite simple and change the Windows Live ID associated to this account. In order to do that follow the next set of steps:

1. Power on your xbox 360 but do not sign into any profile.
2. Select the option to recover an xbox LIVE profile and then type in the same credential information you use to sign into xbox.com
   
3. The profile "Flushercurves" should then start to download.
4. Once complete sign into the profile and navigate to the Account Management options.
   
5. From here you will need to change the Windows Live ID.
6. Once the Winodws Live ID is changed you can then reattempt to sign into xbox.com with your orignal profile details.

Thanks for the update on the troubleshooting. When you pull up the 360 emulator and try download profile you get that error? If you have an Xbox 360 console we recommend downloading profile to that. Reason being is the profile needs to update on the 360
server. You can try this option again to see if it works. You do not have to remove profile from 360 emulator just click on download profile. It will overwrite the profile.

1. Launch a 360 game on Xbox one.
   
2. Hit the menu and back button together to pull up the 360 emulator.
   
3. go to download profile even if your profile shows.
   
4. enter the credentials for your account.
   

This updates the 360 profile, personally had the same issue as you couldn't launch any BC game. Soon as I did this I was able to play. Try this and let us know.
