    Updates for the xbox one console.


    Just wondering if anyone else is having an issue with their consoles randomly kicking them out of game play for and update that was just done a few days ago. My xbox one has updated itself 12 times in the last month and has kicked me out of game play.
    Shouldnt there atleast be a notification of an update thats about take place and an option to start the update at a later time instead of kicking you of your game. I'm seriously thinking about buying the PS4 if this issue cant be resolved.

    Updates for the xbox one console.

    Hi, based on what you're saying I'd guess the Xbox is enrolled into the insider program. You will receive frequent updates depending on which part of the insider program the Xbox is enrolled into.

    Have you hard reset your console as well clear cache in your setting app on your xbox console?

    Hi Buddy..

    Updates are very safe.. I have my XBox 360 and XBox One on autoupdate.. When it needs to update it will do it for me. I've been playing on XBox One for years never an error.

    Hi! Of course you can, but you should update the xbox one, otherwise you will not have access to xbox live.

    If you are in the Insiders Club you will get downloads more often then if you are not. I'd say the second one was for some bugs but I'm not entirely sure myself. You can always opp out of the Insiders Club if you don't want so many updates. I myself don't
    mind it. I like having the newer stuff.

    Exact same boat as me, run a wired connection at all time.

    Contacted support who claim its an issue on their end which will be resolved within 24 hours!

    Staff were adamant it was their an issue on their end!

    Wait and see i guess??
