Updates Are Reinstalling Entire Games

So apparently when my games need to update, even when my friends have a small 100mb to 4 GB update. My Xbox One seems to be updating the entire game. I use the xbox seagate 4tb hardrive. Could that be the cause?

Also, certain games and DLC don't install. Unless I switch between the external and internal drive.

Like i tried installing Black Desert beta on the 4TB hard drive which is 1TB free currently but it kept saying installation stopped. But when I switch the default installation location to my internal drive which is only about 320GB free, it installs with
no problems.

Also on Dragon Ball FighterZ two new characters called Videl and Jiren were released on the same day. My xbox downloaded Jiren just fine but to this day wont install Videl.

It happens quite often if there is an update that is already in progress and you cancel it, as if you uninstall the game and it is uninstalled, I do not know why it is. It has already happened to me once. Watch that.

Xbox only reinstalls the game during an upgrade if it is canceled.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. As stated above, any sort of interruption during the game updates will cause the entire game to uninstall to prevent corruption. How is your internet connection statistics? Are the games in your internal storage
affected as well?

Let us know the details and we'll try to fill in the blanks.
