Updates always fail

for about 2 weeks now, I've been receiving nearly daily updates. Every time they stall at 84-85%. Every time I've had to do a factory reset in order for the console to be functional again. Any suggestions?

Sorry to hear about the update blues. I would definitely recommend getting back on the phone with support to follow up on this. I'm not sure they can get an RMA out before holidays over the phone. Does the store you purchased it from have any for a replacement/exchange?
Do you have a Microsoft store nearby to have them help you out?

Since I've never been stuck in the update loop, is it possible to cancel the update and go to settings and run the reset to factory settings? Settings -> System -> Reset factory settings. I'm not sure if its possible to get out of update loop - maybe disable
wifi and unplug Ethernet to see if that works?

Do you use wifi or Ethernet for internet on your xbox one?

Thanks for the reply, I have both Ethernet and Wireless, neither effects the outcome of the update. I have tried the Factory Default Reset, same thing happens.

I bought the Xbox One at Las Vegas when I was visiting from Canada few weeks ago. So going back is not an option. And I was told by a support rep that visiting a Microsoft Store locally for exchange is not an option. So I never tried.

Actually, updating via USB was the only choice I had as downloading the update always failed

Yeah but the app wont install because it says that i need the latest update for windows. And the update always fails. Update 1903.
