Updates almost everyday??

Has anyone been getting the same 360 mb update like every other day? This is getting stupidly annoying. And for whatever reason this little 360 mb update likes to take 20 minutes to finish. Ive gotten roughly 4 of the almost same size updates in the last
week, is anyone else getting these?

Marketplace almost always updates around 5-6am US central. I don't remember almost any DLC updates being right at midnight.

Not here. It definitely sounds like you are in the preview program as gds1972 suggests in his question.

 

Yea I am. I didnt think about that cause I havent noticed any changes after any of these updates.

So I deleted the preview program so i could stop dealing with these updates, and im still getting them. I still get about at least 2 a week around 375 mb. This is getting really annoying.

 

Hi X 0l Sk00l X! You can't just delete the preview program, you have to open the app and opt out of the updates. Otherwise, they'll keep coming.

Let us know if that fixes it.

 

Actually, even without the preview program i used to get these updates every day. Now, i get them possibly twice a day with the preview program. I'm pretty sure there's some "punkbuster" proprietary software included in this mix, as i've asked a few Xbox
techs about it and they cant tell me what the updates are for, but come on. What's with the procedure: "sign out of all programs on the xbox while we tell you, 'YOU CANT BE ON XBOX UNTIL IT'S DOWNLOADED' crud?" I would like a better explaination, rather than,
"IT'S REQUIRED."
