(UPDATED) Xbox One Elite Series 2 & Wireless Adapter for WIndows 10 - DO NOT UPDATE TO...

Do not re-post links to Microsoft official guides - none of them work.

I have the said accessories for Win 10 that were working fine until i updated to 1909 build yesterday.

Now they will not pair with each other - except the Elite 2 works when connected to its USB power that should only be attached to its charging stations as thats why you get a wireless adapter.

And no, I will not use it wired because that defeats the purpose, as I spent $300AU, a serious amount of money in Australia, on both these devices less than 6 months ago to sit on the couch and play with a controller using my gaming PC.

I have done EVERYTHING that has been suggested by all the other people who have this issue - THAT HAVE NOT HAD IT SOLVED BY MICROSOFT to date for any of them either and NO CONCLUSIVE SOLUTIONS provided by this site.

You need to give an answer to this problem and find a Dev to do so ASAP. This is unacceptable that it is not working after an Update insisted on by Microsoft as the build I had was flagged as end of life pending.

EDIT: Both devices are working and can be found in Bluetooth devices list and in Device Manager - except the Xbox Elite 2 is only seen in DM when connected to its charging USB and not when sitting on the portable changing station that it always sits and
is what is connected to the PC for obvious reasons - it is called Xbox Peripherals. Both devices just blink away and do not sync - they worked two days ago without issue!!!

Next Day EDIT: Where is the Dev team that I instructed you to get onto this major failure of Microsoft ? Its been over 12 hours since I posted and as Im on the other side of the globe that means you all have had your daytime already to fix this - SO GO AND
FIND SOMEONE TO FIX THIS - NOW !!!

EDIT: So, after reinstalling build 1809 from a USB backup completely from scratch, I have successfully synced the Elite 2 and the Wireless Adapter again.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

You do not want to see HID Compliant Device in Bluetooth & Other Devices, you want to see XINPUT-compatabile HID device under Other Devices list.

Furthermore, you want to see Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows under the Mouse, keyboard & pen list and not in Other Devices.

In Device Manager you do not want to see Xbox Peripherals at the bottom of the list after activating hidden items. You want to see Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows under Network Adapters and NOT see the Xbox Acc anywhere in the list.

Its dispicable that nobody on this so-called Microsoft Forum has done anything to help that works for so many people that I have seen asking the same questions. Utterly pathetic in fact.

SOLUTION: do NOT update to build 1909 FOR ANY REASON as it is broken already.

Utterly pathetic Microsoft, and as for the so called 'experts' on here im completely disgusted that over 20 people have viewed the post and had absolutely nothing to contribute to help fix the problem - let alone the multiple other posts ive seen where all
you've done is recommend links to Microsoft help pages that LITERALLY have nothing of value or help that is useful or fixes the problem.
