Updated and now I’m stuck on certain screens and can’t do anything

I havent used my xbox one in a while and started it up tonight and it beeded updating. I did the update, but now im stuck on the “store” screen. If i try to move over to the “home” screen it will move over, but then immediately pushes me back to the store
screen.

When i click the “X” to sign in, it brings up the “system” page and does the same thing. I can scroll over to the “home” page but it pushes me back to the “system” page immediately so i cant click anything.

I have tried restarting the console and even unplugged it totally for a few minutes. Not sure what to do now since im stuck on being oushed back to just these 2 screens.

It also now skips over selections super easy and when im trying to type the cursor right is hilighted and clicking as if its being selected.

Your pissing me off Xbox!

Your pissing me off Xbox! So I have many Xbox, when I change rooms I can’t easyily switch Xbox. I always need to reset the one I want to use at the moment or I can’t even log In . Like right now I can’t log in and I get an error code 0x800488fc. I have reset
the Xbox I have updated it and it’s the Xbox one x . I was recently using the Xbox s in the gym room now I’m in my room ready to chill but I can’t cuz I’m messing with the log in screen . Please fix your ****

Have you tried using a different controller it sounds like your controllers left analog stick may be stuck going to the right.

That was it! Thank you! Never would have thought about that. Turned out my right bumper button is stuck.

I’m having the same problem, but now I physically can’t uninstall Minecraft. I’ve spammed the uninstall buttons, I’ve reset my Xbox and powered it off and it just doesn’t uninstall. Then before it was doing that I tried to update it and it updated then when I went to play it said “installation stopped” I go back and update it again says 922+ MBs. Then just switches to 86-88MBs. Then when I go back and try playing I can’t because it just repeats that. But now I’m stuck to can’t play anything…

Xbox doesn’t need an update; i am on Home Screen; I can’t really load or do anything though; any actions freeze and take minutes to load games and apps or an app; can’t open anything in settings as “it takes too long to start” the xbox is horrendously slow even though i just factory reset it, and updated mind you, but everytime i turn it off i get a black screen turning it on and have to power cycle, sometimes it gets stuck on green screen but luckily for now after a few attempts i can still be brought to home screen, i just honestly can’t turn the xbox off because i don’t know if it will end up breaking again and have to factory reset it but i can’t even use the xbox as is, as everything freezes and takes forever to start or do anything, had a game download to 75% just for it to stop for some reason and i can’t pause the download or anything because it freezes and takes too long; debating opening the xbox and cleaning though it’s been cleaned before and it still eventually ends up useless; TLDR: xbox can’t be turned off or gets stuck on startup, several tries eventually show home screen but xbox is too slow to even use or do anything with
