    Updated 01-17-20 currently Alpha skip ahead ring. Console streaming world preview access?


    I am currently in the Alpha-Skip Ahead ring with last update on the 17th

    I have everything setup for console streaming, only thing that shows could be an issue is Network type.

    I did sign up to take part of the xCloud streaming but have not received approval. I would like to know do I need to have the console off ( while in instant-on mode ) otherwise I'm currently stuck on the learn more about page and do not know where to go.

    Much help would be appreciated

    xbox insider hub has not given me any new rings yet

    Hi,

    you can change rings in the xbox insider hub when yo manage the xbox update preview rings note that alpha and alpha skip ahead are invite only but you should be able to join the beta ring

    Hi, I tried to private message you but it didn't work.

    You have to be in the insider preview to download the avatar beta app. It works on the original Xbox One, the Xbox One S and Xbox One X. It is not rolled out by console model but by which Insider Preview ring you are in. It has now been rolled out to all
    rings.

    Insider Preview has Alpha Skip Ahead, Alpha, Beta, Delta and Omega rings. Alpha Skip Ahead and Alpha are invite only from the development team. You can use any Xbox One family of console in any of the rings.

    Hi,

    At the moment the new Xbox Avatar Beta is available to those in Alpha - Skip Ahead, Alpha, and Beta. When you open the Xbox Insider Hub, it should show under announcements the ring your console is currently enrolled in, can you double check to make sure
    its within one of those rings listed. If so, it should show under 'Insider content' with the option to enroll in the app beta.

    If you need to change the ring you're currently enrolled in, please go into 'Insider content'>Xbox One Update Preview>Manage. You will be given access to the rings you are currently eligible for.

    Let us know if it still not showing after checking your preview ring.
