    Update XBox One S Keeps Failing


    So, buy a new device connect it to the network successfully and immediately out of the box it want to conduct an update. Typical Microsoft!! So, off we go, for an hour downloading 1173MB of data and then it fails at the 20% mark. So, restart, check network
    connection, all good says the box, start again, 15% mark fails. 8 times and 2 hours later I am about to through this thing out the window. One of the most useless pieces of crap!!!

    We have 2 xboxes in the house, the other one connects fine.

    It just days needs to update, but it keeps failing

    As well as the 8923xxxx error is there a E??? error code?

    Have tried doing the day one update with a wired ethernet cable connection?

    Thanks for the advice. It didn't work, though. The options called "Restart your console from the Power Center" couldn't be performed. When I went to the menu, there were three options ("Turn console off," "Turn controller off," and "Restart console") but
    they were all grayed out. I tried the options called "Physically power cycle the console" and "Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable." It still had the same problem with 720 MB remaining.

    1. I'm having the same issue. Mine keeps telling me 0% complete and won't download at all. I thought if I turned off the console and back on, it would start over. But it doesn't, it restarts at the same page. I need help!!! I want to play!!!
