Update, Xbox live connection and DLing my profile issues

My main issue is connecting to live , my understanding is if i dont DL the update that pops up im not able to get on live but an error window keeps popping up telling me " unable to DL update and that i need to check my connection" and because im not able
to connect to live i dont get to DL my profile , worst [Mod Removed-Profanity] ive been in so far , can someone please help!!!!!!!

Xbox Live Connection Error

I tried to log in to my Xbox Live profile, and it said I couldn't connect to Xbox Live. Under the message it said the numbers "80151909"

It's been like this for about a week. Anyone know how to resolve this issue?

P.S. I've tried connecting to one of my accounts that doesn't have Xbox Live Gold, and that didn't let me log in either.

 

Connection problems in games via wireless

Another update tried resetting xbox network settings to default with automatic for everything after re-downloading my gamer profile. still no changes can connect to xbox live but connection issues are still there.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We need a little clarification in order for us to be able to get this issue resolved.

Is his happening on a 360 or an Xbox one? Do you receive an error code or message?

Please provide info to @XBF Chris J so we can help you more.. Also, if you are on Xbox one and X, please run the network tests to make sure you are able to connet ot Live.
