    Update went wrong


    Hi, trying to set up Xbox One that my son got from Santa this morning. When we press for Update - it scrolls through we have tried this various times and then maximum it has gotten to is 37% then we get the same a message "there a was a problem with the
    update - contact xbox,,,,,,,,," we are unable to get onto them - can anyone help ! thanks

    FIFA 17 update - something went wrong

    So i just bought FIFA 17. Been sitting on my couch, starring at the screen for more than 4 hours while it downloaded. It's finally over, but then i try to start the game. "FIFA 17 needs an update, but something went wrong" it says.

    0x8b0500069 is the update error, but that one doesn't exist on the support site i'm told to go to for help. So what do i do here? I've tried to reset the console, clearing the cache and everything, but nothing helps, and Microsofts page doesn't provide any
    help whatsoever. Please help me. I'm begging you.

    "Something went wrong..." update fail solution!

    Hello everyone!

    A lot of people having problems with updating Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and getting the message that says "Something went wrong..." etc..

    Solution:

    To solve this problem, go to Settings > System > Console info & updates and update your console to the latest operation system version.

    If there is is no update available or the updatde didn't solve the problem please contact with:

    Well it was about to prepare update screen and in a split second went back to “Something went wrong” and I press continue. It show restart, reset, turn off and xbox offline update option menu screen. I press “xbox offline update”(usb is connect to Xbox

    You said you restarted your console, have you done a hard shutdown? Try holding in the main button for 20 seconds or so and that should do a hard shutdown. And/or try unplugging the console altogether. I hope that helps!

    Well for no apparent reason it actually worked after the thirtieth time I told it to restart.

    So I guess the issue is resolved.
