Update warranty period for new xbox controller

I recently bought a new xbox controller and registered it to my Microsoft account. After registration, it shows that my warranty has expired 3 months ago. I have the proofs for my purchase and I'm trying to get in touch with support. The virtual assistant is not helping at all . How do I contact the support team to get my warranty period updated?

The warranty on controllers is typically 90 days. You are probably going to have to buy a new controller as they are no repair options for controllers outside the warranty period.

Unfortunately the warranty period on the controller is only 90 days. Is your controller updated completely? It may be that the controller is faulty. Good Luck!

The controller has a 90 warranty period and if it is out of warranty you should just purchase a new one. Good Luck!

Xbox controllers have a 90day warranty, during that warranty you can get a free repair or replacement by scheduling a repair with Xbox Support. Outside of the warranty period you'll need to pay for the repair and shipping which is almost equivalent to the
price of a new controller so if it really bothers you I advice you to purchase a new one
