    Update turned off my X-box one console for good.


    My Xbox One, updated yesterday and after it finished it completely turned off. I cannot get it to turn on. I've have unplugged it several times, and it is still not operational. Please Help!

    xbox won't show any picture

    I turned my X box on and it said i had an update to install. I installed it and the X box shut off. i turned it back on but i get no picture now. i need to know if the update did this and how can i fix it.

    X Box One stopped powering TV on and off

    My X Box One recently stopped turning my TV on and off with the console. I have a connect attached, but I have always left it turned off unless I am actively using it., so I have never had volume or channel control through the X Box, but until recently,
    turning on the X Box would turn on the TV, and turning off the X Box would turn off the TV. Any ideas on how to get that working again?

    Kicking issues

    Try restarting your console, or turning it off and back on. Maybe try doing an update to the game. If you are on an Xbox One, it will be worse. If its a One X, it might be good.

    Connection problems

    Reset your modem and do a hard reset of x box one by holding the lit up x button on the console not the controller. Hold it until the box turns off. This should help you all.

    Solved:

    I've finally figured out why my AVR turns on and off when I turn on/of my xbox one console.

    When I purchased a remote for the xbox one. Setting it up had me turn on in Audio Mode the "control my receiver volume and the on/of function" was checked. It was never before.

    I unchecked the box and my receiver stays on when i turn off my x box one.

    Go to settings and turn on energy saving mode. This will turn the console completely off, but will take up to 45-60 seconds to turn on. You will not be able to use the X Box Turn On feature, get updates, or instant start up.
