Update tab not working

Ever since I switched to the Xbox One X, the update tab in my games and apps is not working. It states that everything is up to date, but it is not. It won’t alert me that a game needs an update until I put in the game. I do not have instant on enabled
and I don’t have it set to auto update games. I opened a ticket through customer service, but I have not heard back and I don’t believe they understood the issue. Any ideas? I have already factory resetted the console.

My Games and Apps Updates tab not working

Hello! I was a part of the preview program before this update came out, and the updates tab under my games and apps was working beautifully before the update went live. It would show all of the games and apps that currently need updating on that tab. When
the update went live, the Updates tab remains blank and says everything is up to date. I am assuming this isn't working correctly? I needed about 90 updates before with the preview Updates tab, didn't update anything, now it says everything is up to date.
Just curious if this is a known issue and if anyone else is experiencing it? Thanks

 

Friends tab on Xbox one homescreen

I havent got those updates. Does anyone know why the friends tab isnt working?

With my games they will mostly update in the background without me knowing anything about it as when I check the installing list there are additional items in the recently installed area. Sometimes I do get prompted to update when I start the game but I
think don't think this is a problem I think it is just that the update is so recent the console has not had the opportunity to download it prior to me trying to play that game.

 

This is not the case. I do not have the auto update feature enabled as referenced above. Therefore, my games do not update automatically in the background. This issue only occurred after transferring my data to the new Xbox. Any other ideas?

 

Can you try pressing the Xbox button on the controller to bring up the guide then select System Tab / Setting / System / Updates and make sure the option to Keep my games & apps up to date is ticked.

 

That option is not checked. I do not wish to have games automatically update. I wish to choose which games I update. Prior to changing to the new Xbox, any games that needed updates would appear in the update section. Now it says it’s all up to date, and
it most definitely is not. Apart from going back to my old Xbox, how do I get this functionality back?
