Update size difference between 360 and one.

okay, I just keep searching around and searching around for reasons why the console updates are so huge and all I'm seeing are posts for why the game updates are the way they are and I'm also seeing posts saying that because it was idle so long that it's catching up....how about when it hasn't set idle? and the console updates for the one are STILL so massively monsterous! What ALL are you stuffing in our consoles that it needs 30+ GB of data for only the console every month or two sometimes?? the 360 didn't need it nearly as often and didn't require anywhere near as big as those for the oneand if you've ever actually really played the games that were on the 360 and the ones that are out now they were just as big and detailed then too but I'm not talking about the game updates either still console updates are what we're talking about so stay on track!! and I play daily so there's no catching up needed! So why are they so huge?? And instead of giving me the vague dismissive excuse, how about you send me a complete list description of every single thing that you're cramming in my device and no I'm not going to go to some web page and look at some very vague short list of barely at most a couple gigs of stuff because there's no way that's all that's in it with how massive the updates actually are compared to that list I have friends that are programmers so I know just how much can actually fit into each gig and that list won't even fill two gigs with code so what else is in there what are you adding into it? is it just filler?? So yah, im sure I'm allowed to receive a copy of a full read out list of what's actually in that update end-to-end, that my friend can actually break down for me seeing that I know what those lists actually look like and how difficult they are to actually comprehend I'd really appreciate it because I really think there's a lot of filler and bugs more so than anything actually significant or important that needs to be put in that many times within a year and I know that my email address is obtainable through this message because it's part of the attachment as to where it came from so if you please could email me that list I would be very happy to learn what it actually says. Oh and something I almost forgot regarding reading anything I wrote. To those of you who seem to have such a hard time reading what I wrote try reading it word for word like I wrote it I don't write for anyone to skim read it doesn't work ever trust me I've had fights with my sister because she thought I said something else till I made her read it you actually have to read me all the way to get me and if you read me thoroughly you will get what I'm saying it's just that simple slow down and don't say no time for that dude you're sitting on your butt you can slow down peace and patience is growable

The 360 had extremely limited space for the operating system, and was very limited in what they could add or change. and also wasn't anything approaching a modern OS. The 360 for example had no ability to multitask, record game footage, etc. Updates happened a few times a year beyond tiny quick hot fixes.

The OS updates are 5-6GB in size. There are regular updates and patches to both the OS and system applications, and these updates happen regularly. This is the same for all modern hardware.

I don't understand how you can know "just how much fits into each gig", because that's incredibly variable. You can fit 10,000 books into the space for one movie for example. Different kinds of data compress very differently.

Game systems have been incredibly behind computers, for example games stopped running off discs 20 years after they did on PC. High resolution system assets (thats why the dashboard wasn't 4K, it needed an additional GB of RAM beyond 1080p) take up lots of space. Modern operating systems are very complex, as are the requirements of the security system, which requires replacement of large blocks of code so it will hash correctly.

There can several mitigating factors as to the speed of your download. The size of the download, your actual download speed, how well your ISP is performing and how congested Xbox LIVE is at the time of the download.

From what I understand, an end portal exists in every single world you create. The trick is, to actually find the d@mn thing.

As for differences between the PS3/Xbox 360 version and the Xbox One version... the main thing is the draw distance. (The distance with which you can see out amongst the world. It is very limited on the 360/PS3, but with the new consoles, it is much improved.)
Also, the size of the worlds are (something) like 32 times bigger in size.
