Update Problem, no Error Code

So I bought a new game yesterday. Downloaded fully no problems, when I went to launch it needed an update like most new games. And then it popped up the "There was a problem with the update", with a description of something went wrong. I was only able to
choose between "Try again, Check Network Connection, or Cancel".

Nothing seems to work, rebooting, the internet, all of the normal.

I think it may have to do with the new xbox update? My console never prompted that, the OS shows it is still running the last update in Spring. But I don't get any prompts saying there is a new update available when I follow the advice and check in settings.

Any ideas?

Cannot redeem codes

Anyone else havin a problem. Its accepting the code and displaying what its for but when i click to download i'm gettin an error message everytime with no specific error codes. ***!

 

Watch Dogs 2 not updating

Watch Dogs 2 will NOT UPDATE! All it says is that there is a problem with the update. No error code.

 

I did a update on my system on a Wednesday but was unable to play due to how long the update took. So I tried playing games Saturday morning only to have my console stop working on me 20 minutes after gameplay. Now I have a orange light on my power supply
block and my console keeps powering off less than 5 seconds after hitting the power button. I've tried resetting my system and unplugging everything for hours at a time. But still I'm left with an orange light and a console that no longer works.

The Summer Update is rolling out in waves so your console might need to obtain the update. Here's how you can check to see if your console is ready to update.

1. Scroll left from Home to open the guide.
2. Select Settings.
3. Select All Settings.
4. Select System.
5. Select Console info & updates.
6. Select Update Console.

If your console is up to date, can you provide the error code which would be at the bottom of the screen which is showing the error? That would greatly help us out.
