Update Previewing program.

I have recently been accepted to preview updates for the Xbox 360. I want to know what problems accepting this can cause and how likely having
any problem is, and how likely any permanent problems to occur.
In short: (on a scale of 1 to 10) how worth it is it to choose "accept?"

Are you a part of the preview program? Sometimes the preview version of the updates have issues.

These are unfinished updates that are considered complete enough to test in the wild. It's the same thing really as running the Windows 10 preview as your PC OS. it's unlikely to break your console but the risk is higher than with the proper updates.

it can certainly affect voice communication. If Microsoft change the voice codec in an update then you'd only be able to communicate that way with people who are also in the preview program.

I'm not in the preview program. The April update for non preview program is still pending for me.

If you've been accepted into the preview program, and your console is ready for a preview update, you'll likely get it when the next preview update is rolled out. Preview Program members do not get a warning on when they'll get new updates, and we
just get them as they arrive. If you have other questions about the Preview Program Registration I suggest using this link to post in the Preview Program Support forum.

Normally you should only have one update a month unless you are in the preview program.

Are you in the update preview program?

If so you should run the update preview dashboard app and opt out if the updates are annoying you
