Update Preview Causing Odd Problems?

So im part of the update preview shindig that microsoft does. Normally everything goes great but ive noticed some odd things lately. I knew the update was coming because i got the message and then a second one a few days ago saying the update would be hitting
people within the next few days. Well, i got the update and besides finding it odd that the sound automatically lowers when you go to the home dashboard ive only had one problem (that hasnt went away). Ive noticed that when i use voice commands to turn on
my console it will make the sound as if youre using the button on the console. I thought this was part of the update but it only makes the sound occasionally when turning the console on with voice commands, not every time. Along with that "problem" the console
randomly makes that same power on noise for no reason while im playing a game or watching TV. Im not sure if they are fixing problem as they occur but i was at one point also having problems with voice commands. A lot of commends simply would not register
correctly but the console would seem to go to a default voice recognition box in the corner (which now look different than they used to for some reason as well). That issue seems to have gone away but the power on noise has not. Im just curious as to whether
or not tothers are having odd little problems as well now with the update..

Are you participating on the preview beta updates?...it might be causing login on games that don't reconfigured preview version 1406. Since it's not publicly LIVE yet.

 

June update preview

I have not received any update from Preview program like it said it would update in the next 48 hours, here it has been a week and some odd days with no update from previous OR the new one. Please Preview team! help fix this!

 

There are a few niggles but that's part of the beta mate

They will get ironed out before public release.

try the hard reset in the mean time

 

That sound is part of the update as MessiahBrowny says hard reset I do one after every update

 

Yeah,I hard reset about once a week regardless of updates just because small problems tend to pop up. Probably the most annoying one is games or apps refusing to fully launch and just kicking you back to the home screen. Anyway, thanks for the input guys.
I was just making sure this stuff was actually part of the update and i wasnt going crazy. Part of the preview program is giving feedback though, right? lol

 

I am on the preview the updates come in waves a bit at a time no fixes yet hopefully in next wave

 

It would be a good idea to report all this in the feedback forums, under Xbox early access. You can also catch up on things others may be experiencing so you can keep an eye out on temp. work arounds

Sorry I was more referring to The Op, Experiencing the bugs and things are kind of what we signed on for the more people reporting the better. If it gets to the point where you just don't want to deal with it anymore you can opt out by launching the registration
app on your console.
