    Hello,

    I’m posting about an issue I have had for a few days now. It has occurred ever since I have updated my Xbox. I am a member of the update preview programme whether this is a coincidence of maybe testing out a new update, I don’t know?

    I have a day one edition Xbox.

    Never the less I am encountering 3 main issues:

    My accounts friends list is frozen from a few days ago and has not updated itself since.

    I am also not getting the full home screen available as it states “there is a problem getting this content at the moment”

    The third is when I load up a game it’s unable to retrieve my player saved data.

    So anyone’s initial thought is that it must be my internet connection... on the day that this occurred my network provider “talktalk” has a number of down reports. My internet still managed to load webpages and never went down. However I did notice that
    my NAT type was moderate.... I reset my router and my Xbox many times and did a NAT type test on my Xbox and I managed to have an open NAT type ever since. I primarily connect via Ethernet cable and tried connecting wirelessly and all three problems still
    persists.... just in case it was my network I set up my personal hotspot on my phone with full bars of 4G I still had all three issues (my hot spot usually works completely fine). This lead me to Believe it was an Xbox related issue .... I hard reset my Xbox
    many times to reset the cache and other things. Still the same issues listed above. I changed Ethernet cables multiple times and I even manually restarted my Xbox in setting and even used the “go offline” feature in settings. Nothing is working. I ran network
    tests and they all said “everything is ok”. I also ran detailed network statistics and have a consistent 36mbps download speed and a 9mbps upload speed, 0% packet loss. Everything is how it should be. I even had a play with automatic and manual port selection
    as i briefly saw a Upnp error only on the day of the discovery of the issue. I have not seen this error since. All three problems still persist.

    When I try to load up a game I am prompted that the only way I can use the game is by using it offline so i select this option. However the game manages to connect to their servers just fine and I’m able to play a game. Therefore it must not be network related.

    I called Xbox support for console and hardware issues. I ran the network tests for him and everything was still ok. I was instructed to remove my account from my Xbox and then hard reset and add it back again. I removed the account and hard reset but upon
    adding it back it said that my account was already on my Xbox .... the assistant said it should not be there and this is most likely an issue with the Update as the Xbox or network would not do this.

    My thoughts are that it must be a glitch of some kind...

    I was instructed to try and contact a developer within the update preview programme and here I am.

    I have logged into other Microsoft services with the same account on a webpage on my pc and it’s fine as-well.

    I am still getting the three issues above and now it seems to be unable to retrieve my account information as when I sign in I cannot see my gamer picture or my friends list or my messages or anything along those lines.

    As a very loyal member of Xbox for over 8 years I have had many issues with Xbox and have solved all of them, but they have not been as bad as this one. I have done rigorous network trouble shooting before. I did also check the Xbox live service status an
    it all seemed ok.

    Before I removed my account I could see the community feed and play clips from it smoothly.

    I am unable to use my Xbox currently because my account does not have any information attached.

    I am thinking maybe I need to revert back to a previous update to solve this, maybe via USB. I’m stuck with what to do next, it would be great if a developer at the update preview programme could help.

    Any help would be great thanks.

    I think something is wrong with my x1

    Are you a part of the preview program? Sometimes the preview version of the updates have issues.

    Are you in the preview program. I've had similar issues with my account. Started with the newest dashboard update.
