    Update not available


    When I went on my Xbox 360 last night, there was an Xbox Live update, so I proceeded to apply the update. After the update had finished, I tried to log on to Xbox Live, but a message popped up saying

    "Update Failed

    A system update is required to sign into Xbox Live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit
    www.xbox.com/support "

    I've tried every method I can think of [turning the Xbox off and back on, disconnecting and reconnecting to my router, clearing the system cache, etc.], but nothing seems to work.

    i was receiving the message update needed , but it wouldn't accept it . when i try the conection test i get this "update failed" a SYSTEM UPDATE IS REQUIRED TO CONECT TO XBOX LIVE BUT THE UPDATE IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE

    Hey AwesomeHamad,

    Please click on the link and you will find the manual download. you can put it on a USB or CD and then manually download it to you console.

    You may also get that message if you have the HT1000 modem provided by your ISP, usually Hughesnet or Dishnet.

    On your System Info page, click on the "i" icon (very difficult to see, upper right next to System Information), choose Web Acceleration, then Control, disable web acceleration, hit submit

    Click Web Acceleration on the left menu. Click Control and tick
    Disable Web Acceleration. Now click Submit.
