Update messed up my 360

    Update messed up my 360


    downloaded the latest update for the 360, now it won't read games, cds, or dvds.

    update messed up my xbox

    i solved it myself. for some reason if i pressed feedback, it brought me to another page that allowed me to check my connection. after i did that it was fine. the new dashboard was there too

    LiveLoveLonnie - You are not in the preview program on this gamertag that we can confirm, that is why you cannot access those forums. Please post up a new thread on the account you are in the preview program with to get access to those forums.

    SCOTTIExDONT - Medium is simply an Ambassador; a gamer like yourself that volunteers his time to help others out. Anyone that works at Microsoft will have an "Official" tag on the bottom of their gamercard.

    That being said, the only support for preview has always been on the forums, specifically the
    Update Preview Forums. While your issue is resolved, I suggest submitting feedback through your console first with any other issues you have, then checking out those forums for
    any possible solution. Thanks for understanding!

    Have been backing up your characters to a thumb drive or the cloud?

    I had that happen to me on the very first update so I've been backing up my characters ever since.
