    Update Loop


    My console was bricked by the last update as of yesterday. It's basically stuck on an update loop. I've reset it to factory, reset and kept settings, tried an offline update, brought it up in safe mode and tried over and over to get the update to stick,
    but the same result each time. It's an Xbox one X, 1TB. Comes up to checking for updates, then says there an update necessary to use the Xbox. At first, the DL would get stuck at 3% then kick out an error. Eventually, it went through completely, then rebooted
    and went right back to the 557 MB update and so forth. Internet is not in question. We have GB service, and every other piece of equipment in the house is at full speed. I am a member of the Alpha ring preview. I know some have got in on offline mode and
    taken the console off of preview to fix it, but I can't even get it operating in offline mode to try this. Can anyone offer any insight? Anyone else have this issue.?

    So I tried to do a factory reset but it requires you to be online to execute... but that just kicks me back to the update screen all over again.

    I have no idea what to do at this point! I can't play any of my games now and i'm paying for xbox live right now even though i can't even log in!

    Hey there! How is your console connected to LIVE? If wireless, are you able to try connecting via an ethernet cable directly to your modem? This would just be as a test. :)

    ok i have a kinect sensor update loop, when i go on xbox live I go onto the search engine bing it will come up with a status code d0000221-00b96004-1ed9e66e i will still go in a loop if i do kinect id set up. i have tried clearing the cache, formating my
