Update last night!!!

Prompted last night to update my Xbox one, did this and now all my games and downloads have been wiped. Was like it had been reset to factory settings has this happened to anyone else

Xbox Live update last night

I got an Xbox Live update last night on my Xbox 360. Does anyone know what that is all about?

 

My console has been stuck on the xbox one loading screen for hours after this update...I'm fearing the worst, I'm really disappointed, Microsoft can't seem to get anything right with this console...such a disappointment.

 

I take it you are both in the preview program?

Your part of the preview program, this is what happens when beta test games, Operating Systems etc.

If you don't like having a slightly unstable (or in this case very unstable) console, then perhaps you should really take yourself off the preview program.

I mean this is what the preview program is there for, its so people can test unstable updates, find the bugs and report them back to Microsoft.

 

After updating I can't even sign in, spent an hour on the phone to Microsoft this morning who suggested I factory reset the console losing all my saves and game data . Only other option is that they will send the Xbox one an update to "try" and fix it .
3 days of a bricked console is ridiculous when we are paying for Xbox live . Very bad PR for Xbox one

 

I updated my xbox one last night comeing to it today i have found that when i go on you tube it shuts my xbox down their is no curser on the internet browser,

Additionally, when left unattended, my xbox will shut down within 5 minutes,

This has only started since I installed the preview update, but I cannot gain access to the private forums to discuss/complain about this issue.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

How is it bad pr ? It's a beta,it clearly tells you that there may be problems with every update,that's what beta's are for & what you agreed to when you joined the preview program.Factory reseting your console does not mean you lose all your saves.Did you
actually read anything before signing up for the preview program?

2nd paragraph and the same as the Microsoft support employee told me

 

Where does it say you lose your game saves ?

It doesn't because your saves are on the cloud as well as your console as long as you are connected to live.

As I said,you do not lose your saves.
