    UPDATE ISSUES?


    I recently had to run an update/installation of some sort for this game and now it wont even play. The update never went through and is seeming to have issues with the network. However, when it suggests I test the network, its completely fine (which I already
    knew)

    Any information would help! It seems that I have had to switch games several times due to installation issues. It's a great way to sell more games but I would rather play the games, I own, as I wish.

    Ever since the last update my gamercard in th.e lobdriver level completely wrong. It says I'm level 19 when I'm actually 275

    Online lobbies cycle the driver level every 256 levels. Once you hit 257 your online level will show as 1.

    Not sure what's going on with the design sharing. Did you create a design that was inappropriate? Maybe you're under review or banned? ...or maybe it's because you're currently not an Xbox Live Gold member?

    yeah one of the designs I tried to submit was inappropriate so I guess I was banned or something because it won't let me submit anything anymore (even inappropriate designs). That's weird about the cycling thing on the driver levels. I could have sworn
    I've seen people leveled up as high as the 400s before

    I'm having a similar problem, every time the game needs an update it tells me I need to install disc. It then sits on 0% and doesn't move, I've left it for 24hrs but nothing. I'm starting to get over this game it's unplayable and will most definitely be
    making the switch to project c.a.r.s when it's available.

    If you're having problems completing the update try restarting your Xbox by holding down the power button on the Xbox for 5-10 seconds. Then press again to restart the console and hopefully the update will be applied successfully.

    Hi PayneAS! The console shouldn't need to download updates in a sequential order; the latest update includes all of the previous updates as well. However, if the update failed, it may be *partially* updated, which can be problematic, because the console
    knows that, but the version number is correct. Anyway - Can you again try taidara's suggestion, with the console disconnected from the internet? It should then use the USB update and it *should* work. Let us know if this helps!

    (oops, hit post by accident)

    I did as suggested above. Still not working. The download bar gets to about 40% of the way done and then ticks backwards a little, then forwards, then backwards, then forwards, and finally fails. Gives me the error code Error 3F4B 0000 3080
    0505 8007 5070     again. If what the help topic (I linked earlier) says is true, that I'm missing a previous update, how can I get it to download the update? It won't read the update off my USB stick. :/
