    Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to get past the separate error that you're dealing with. I can see how seeing this thread and the error it describes could inspire you to try and get help here, however it would behoove you to make
    a new thread so that we can tailor support to your error's needs, especially if it's displaying on a different console, such as the 360 or through a PC.

    When you get the chance, post a new thread so that we can provide the appropriate troubleshooting for that and hopefully get to the bottom of that.

    Hi PayneAS! The console shouldn't need to download updates in a sequential order; the latest update includes all of the previous updates as well. However, if the update failed, it may be *partially* updated, which can be problematic, because the console
    knows that, but the version number is correct. Anyway - Can you again try taidara's suggestion, with the console disconnected from the internet? It should then use the USB update and it *should* work. Let us know if this helps!

    (oops, hit post by accident)

    I did as suggested above. Still not working. The download bar gets to about 40% of the way done and then ticks backwards a little, then forwards, then backwards, then forwards, and finally fails. Gives me the error code Error 3F4B 0000 3080
    0505 8007 5070     again. If what the help topic (I linked earlier) says is true, that I'm missing a previous update, how can I get it to download the update? It won't read the update off my USB stick. :/
