Update internet explorer on Xbox one

The best place to suggest ideas is the Xbox Insiders Reddit page. This is where you would put forward ideas and suggestions that will improve the Xbox experience.

I would also recommend you be a little more specific about what it is you would like updating on the Edge browser as asking for an update is as vague as it comes

On the Xbox 360
this is now possible after one of the last System updates. The Xbox One can NOT do that currently.

In order to use that function, your console must already be updated to the latest version AND have the most updated Internet Explorer app installed. So you might have to connect the Xbox 360 to a "normal" network first and let it update it's system and Internet
Explorer app.

If the console and Internet Explorer are up to date, you can do a network test in the system settings, and the console will redirect you to the Internet Explorer app, where you then can sign in.

As a workaround on the Xbox One, connect your PC to the network properly. After the PC is signed in, make a note of the PC's MAC address of the network adapter that is used to connect to the network.

In the advanced network settings of the Xbox one, copy the MAC address of the PC to the Xbox One, and it should also be able to connect.

You don't. Vevo is it's own applicacation.

It should be listed on your dashboard unders the "Apps" section, mine shows as a large icon there and again under "My Apps".

If it's not listed in either of those places you may have gotten a bad update for the beta, if so the only options would be

1. wait for the next beta update.

2. call 1-800-4-my-xbox and see if they can help you revert to the old dashboard then get the beta again.
