  1. Update has broken my HDD

I was trying to update one of my games on Friday evening, and during it said can't install update. So I dashboarded and it froze. I turned the whole system off and on again, and it came up with an error screen and my Xbox had the red dot in the middle. When
I take the HDD out, my Xbox works just fine but when I put my HDD back in, it comes up with a black screen saying to contact support with the red dot.

    Help.

    :)

  2. HDD Unformatted

The updates broke my HDD Oman. i imagine it was a connection problem during the update.

It came with the Xbox as the Pro pack. 60 gig HDD.

Hardware fault? It's clearly a software fault.

    Update killed my system?

I did that, I even tried several hdmi cords, first and third party video cables and power cables, and hdd on and hdd off

I say the update killed my system because it isnt the first time something broke right after an update

  4. Update has broken my HDD

    Hello,

According to what you have said you have completed the correct troubleshooting steps based on the support page for your situation. ( Xbox 360 : Console )

Your next step would be to order a replacement hard drive from the Xbox Online Service Center. Console registration is required to replace a hard drive under warranty (the hard drive warranty is the the same as the console warranty).

If your solution is not solved as a result of a replacement hard drive you will need to request a console repair.
