    Update Games in Standby hasn't worked for months.


    I've seen this reported so many times, I've even reported it through the console numerous times, but games are no longer auto updating when the console is in standby or instant on, whatever you wanna call it.

    It really sucks when you see call of duty has yet another mammoth patch, you come home from work and see it was never started, and also a backlog of about 20 game updates.

    Will this ever be fixed?

    I'm in the Super Deluxe Alpha (I can't remember the name, but the earliest one)

    Windows 10 Game Streaming LAG

    My suggestion is to wait it out. Windows 10 still hasn't been officially released and I know a lot of the updates to the XB1 and Windows 10 are to correct streaming issues. Please standby and hope that it gets worked out before the launch of Windows 10.

    Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately, that hasn't worked. Turned off the console after following the steps and it has done a full shut down again - not on standby.

    Xbox record that! Not working. Or just ignoring me.

    I've noticed the Kinect hasn't been working for me when it's in standby, and I've tried using my voice to turn it on. A recalibration done the trick, at least temporarily. Happened again the other day.
