hi I have just bought an Xbox one s and I have downloaded the on disc stuff then I put the Xbox online in order to do update and it just doesn't do anything it sits on 0% for 3 hours then turns off console need help please

Forza Horizon 3 won't install

Hi,

I bought Forza Horizon 3 couple months ago and it worked just fine until my windows decided to stop working and i had to install windows again. After i installed windows it updated to windows creators and now it wont install the game and my pc keeps freezing
while i download it so i need to restart my pc every time it happens. Microsoft store doesn't give any error messages it just says that install failed and it try it again soon but it fails every time and i don't know anymore what to try to fix it.

might be Windows creators that's causing the issue. What we're you using before?

If im not all wrong i think it was 1703 but in the article im talking about the newest 1709 update which i downloaded a while ago but it can be that im wrong. So should i just wait for new updates and hope it fixes that?

the root cause of this issue, kindly answer the following questions:

Are you using an Xbox One console or a Windows 10 PC?
Have you tried installing other games to check if the same issue occurs?
Is your device connected to a wired or a wireless network?
Are you trying to install the game using a game disc or using the setup files you've downloaded online?
Are you getting any error messages?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you visit the
Xbox Live Status page and check if there's an ongoing service alert. Technical server difficulties occur due to server congestion or server upgrade. A service alert may take up to 72 hours.

You can do that or you can try a system restore back to when it worked if you have any restore points created.
