    I keep getting this when COD is trying to update. It won't update and it keeps showing the error and restarting and nothing happens.

    This game will now restart due to an update failure (error code: POLANA)

    Recent update has refused to let me play online - Error 3151-335A-1380-0700-C000-003C

    My 6 moth old Slim can't get updated and therefore access live due to these error codes...

    I've updated by console twice never encountered any of these problems.

    Same issue here. Unable to use XBOX Live due to update. Connection test shows connected to the internet but failed connection to XBOX Live. Just tried to play a game and had to download an update for it, no issues. System update popped up, same failed update
    status code.

    A piece of code could be written to scan for issues before continuing with the update process. It also, shouldn't be mandatory to lose your online functionality in declining the newest update. This is why people who paid their subscription fees take the
    update the same day it's offered. If an update bricks a customer's console? It should be covered under warranty (since the console was in perfect working order before the update occurred).
