    Update Failed


    I get the error with no error code tittle Update Failed the in the body of the error it says: "A system update is required to sign in to xbox Live, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persist, visit:
    www.xbox.com/support" This is after I did a USB Flash drive update since I couldn't update online since it wouldn't download... Now what do I do the support page about updates has nothing on this
    and I still performed the "Clear Cache" the "Remove Hard Drive and Re insert" the "Testing of the Xbox live connection" and still nothing, I reset the network to factory defaults... What do I do?

    XB1 failing to update

    Speak with xbox support by calling 1-800-4MY-XBOX or go to their forums to find suggestions on how to fix this. The obvious remedies would be turning it off or factory reset. Another thing you could try is disconnecting from your wifi and reconnecting and if that doesn't work, connect to your router or modem via RJ-45.

    I would return it to the store and get a new one.

    I'd recommending running through all steps in
    this thread     first so we know the results of all steps. If this doesn't resolve the problem then I'd recommend creating a new thread in the 00 - 2013 Xbox Dashboard Update forums

    The Uninstall thing seems like a new bug / feature added in the latest dash.

    Let's hope they fix it soon.

    I am also experiencing same error. Power recycling does not fix it. I have downloaded update 3 times to no avail.

    I actually had that error of: 3143-397F-1600-2203-C000-0001 on my one console and if I remember correctly that means that the console has been modified or tampered with. I didn't do anything with my console but I found mine was refurbished and so it was
    opened by someone other then Microsoft. If you call into the Xbox Support line they can tell you for sure.
