    Update Failed Status code 40A3


    hi i am trying to connect to xbox live but i am getting a pop up saying i need to update. once i accept the update i get "update failed" with the status code "40A3 0000 0083 0300 8007 045D". i have been trying to fix it for hours. ive tried clearing cache,
    ethernet wire, wireless, etc. all updates have worked fine ever since i got the xbox 4 years ago.

    as updating system, it show as below status code

    3CD6-40A3-1381-0300-C800-0036

    and update failed

    what it mean and how i can do to update system, thanks!

    Hi there!

    If you visit this link

    support.xbox.com/.../software-update-errors

    It will show that this particular error happens if the xbox cannot find the storage device for your system. You can follow those instructions as well as possibly turning off your xbox, removing your hard drive, and then reattatching the hard drive and see
    what happens with that.

    Its not a connection error however with this console. The error is hardware related
