Update failed, functions unavailable.

Is anyone else having issues with the most recent update failing and then all of the normal functions not being available on their Xbox?Once the Xbox is powered on, all it displays is OneDrive and won’t let me switch profiles, access games, it won’t even let me go into settings to reconnect my network. Is the only way to fix the problem to do the offline update with a USB?

I'm not having any issue right now. Are you on the Xbox Insider program?

You can try to factory reset your console. If it does not work (or you do not have access to it), the offline (USB) factory reset would be the recommended route.

Go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset this xbox > Reset and keep my games and apps.

Note: the "Reset and keep my games and apps" option will not make you lose your games, but you will need to sign in to your account again.

The only error is the Update Failed: A system update is required to sign in to Xbox LIVE, but the update is currently unavailable. If the problem persists, visit www.xbox.com/support.
