Update failed E106 offline update also fails

I have exactly the same problem but i also cannot get the offline update to work either. This fails at 1%. Tried everything.

I tried the offline update it failed and I'm not on the insider's program

Did they install offline but then fail during update? If it keeps failing when you're online it could be something with your network. Perhaps uninstall the games, go offline install, then try rebooting your router, and/or using network rather than wireless
for the updates.

Thanks for the update on the issue with the failed update. If the issue persists with the failed update, try this: Xbox One System Update Solution
and click on Update My Console Offline.

Give this a try and let us know the results.
