    Update Error


    recently when trying to download the most recent update I got the following error code 42FE-0000-0080-0300-8007-2F76. I've tested the connection and it's fine. I've researched this a little and tried downloading the update from usb and when I do that I get
    the following error 42FE-43C5-1600-267F-C000-0185. For some time my internal memory says unformatted and ive just been using sub memory sticks for games and such, but now I'm stuck because i cant update or do anything at this point. Any help or suggestions
    would be great!

    Minecraft Update Error

    I went to try out Minecraft on xb1 today. I updated it to the latest patch and it freezed my xbox. I shut it down completely and then I restarted the console. Tried to play minecraft again and now the game won't start. Anyone else get this problem?

    Hi there,

    if the internal storage device is saying that the memory is unformatted and formatting it doesnt fix it, then I'm afraid that the console may need a repair. A possible different solution would be to get an official xbox 360 hard drive, but I'm not 100% sure
    that will be a solution.

    I wuldnt do anything that WPAK suggested until microsoft confirms that their done fixing the patch. I just got off the fone with tech and they said alot of people are having problems with the update. Myself included, thats how i know

    And no offense WPAK. Your advice wuld be sound except that they told me they need to fix the update. Although, i forgot u said something about formatting so he could be right. Still tho i wuld wait

    What patch are you referring to? The last dashboard update on April 30th?

    Update Error

    that's the one. Before that my machine was running fine, after the update there was long black screens between games and the dashboard and then a failure to progress beyond the sphere logo screen.

    If Wpak could supply a way to get to the dashboard and remove the broken update that would be very helpful.

    It was an update that was getting the error so i cleared the cash then it updated, it was odd getting that error for an update?
