Update error

My xbox 360 keeps saying I need an update but when I try to update it says its not available

Minecraft Update Error

I went to try out Minecraft on xb1 today. I updated it to the latest patch and it freezed my xbox. I shut it down completely and then I restarted the console. Tried to play minecraft again and now the game won't start. Anyone else get this problem?

I am having this same issue as I have seen online MANY others are as well. Some people are saying they had to send in for repair. My Xbox worked JUST FINE until this update was released. This should not be the solution to an update that Microsoft released
to the public.

Things you have tried:

Looked online and found MANY people having the same issue but no resolution.

Seems like the status error code has something to do with storage.

My internal memory unit will not format. So I had to update my xbox live through usb on the LAST patch that was released before 4/1/14. This worked just fine.

4/1/14 patch released and received this same error message and tried doing what I did before by installing through usb and this failed as well.

Restarted my router. Opened Xbox live ports.

Reformatted the USB 3 times and tried installing the 4/1/14 update 3 times through usb. Gets past the "Extracting" loading bar and fails.

Do you use the Xbox 360 Slim 4 GB white edition?

console and force the console to update manually, using your USB drive, which should contain a copy of the latest system
software update file.

Follow the steps up front and let us know how that goes and we'll go from there.

Clear Xbox system cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process three times in row.

Restore network settings

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select
Configure Network. Select the Additional settings tab and
Restore network settings to factory defaults. Press "B" on your controller and select
Test Xbox LIVE Connection. If you use wireless connectivity with your console, reconfigure wireless settings for your console.

Delete system update

Go to system settings. Select Storage.

On your controller, press the following button sequence:

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Press the left bumper.

Press the right bumper.

Press the X button.

Turn off your console and insert the USB drive into a USB port on front of your console and turn on your console.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

 

This did not work. I want answers.

 

My internal storage says 2.0 gb available.

I've reset my internet and reconnected. I run the Connectiong test in the console and the connection is fine until i get to "Testing Xbox Live".

It offers me the update through download then fails immediately with status code: 40A3 - 0000 - 0080 - 0300 - 8007 - 0070
