    Wanted to play some Gears5 this morning and when I started it I got booted back to dashboard with an error message:

    Update needed NEEDS TO BE UPDATED, BUT WE CAN'T GET IT RIGHT NOW ( 0X8B050033).

    Submitted error report and went offline and my Gears is woking fine!

    hey so I had this problem and the way I went about resolving it is I loaded the game on a different profile, the game loaded, then switched back to my profile and the game runs fine

    Hey I have figured out how to fix this I was having the same issue with Battlefield 4. The easiest way is to uninstall the game from your system by going to your games and clicking on it with the start button and choosing uninstall then put the game in and
    re install it to your system and this should allow it to update and work properly.
