Update download

Discus and support Update download in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I recently hookd up my xbox360 with my wireless connection but when tried going live it says I must update to so after doing that I get an error code...     I recently hookd up my xbox360 with my wireless connection but when tried going live it says I must update to so after doing that I get an error code after all the downloads completed.the error code says 416b-4451-1381-0300-c800-0036

    Disappointed

    its not 100% but your not downloading games if your on disk... your installing and its in no way 2 hours... if your talking about a game with massive updates(neverwinter) maybe 2 hours to download and install every update since launch...

    I have question regarding digital and physical copies of games.

    Its going to install the game off the Disc, and download any updates fromt he servers.

    Earlier games had a problem where the install time would take forever because it would download the Disc and the updates at the same time, but now they ask you if you want to download the updates while installing.

    Hi TiedCupid825972,

    Error code c800-0036 usually means that your console has been tempered with or modified and for that reason it can no longer connect to Xbox Live, install software updates, or play new games that require a console software update.

    In rare cases, it could mean that your Live account has been locked. If you have a different account, then try use this account as an alternative, to see if you're able to download and install the update.
