    Update controller problems


    I connect my controller via usb to update it but everytime I go to update it says usb is not connected and it clearly is because my controller is charging ive tried multiple wires and controllers and still have the same problem. Ive hard reset my console
    ive factory reset it ive done it all still the problem occurs I do not have the new controllers with the 3.5 mm jack igoogle have the old standard ones for the xbox one please hel

    Just a quick one mate have you tried updating the controller using the headset that came with your Xboxone

    Hi

    Can you please try using a few alternate USB cables as not all of them are fully wired some of them only wire the the terminals that covers charging.

    March Update messed up my controller and astro A50 Headset.

    Controller updated along with my other controllers. Still have problem! Used all other controllers. The problem did not start until this march update. Everything was fine before.

    If you’re trying to sync your controller using a micro-USB cable, make sure you’re using a high-quality one. Poorly made or frayed/damaged cables may not work correctly.
