Update Child's Profile

Discus and support Update Child's Profile in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; Not sure that this is the correct place to start this thread, but I am new to this and trying to figure it out.     Update Child's Profile


    Not sure that this is the correct place to start this thread, but I am new to this and trying to figure it out.

    I was recently able to create profiles for me and 4 children. I was able to update my profile, including my gamertag and gamerpic. When I try to do the same with my children's account, I get an error that says "Uh oh that shouldn't have happened. You've
    discovered a glitch..." This happens when I try to update any of my children's accounts but not when I do my own. Do I have a setting wrong somewhere? I was able to get them to add friends and change their gamertags but can't get the rest of it customized.

    xBox 1 screen time settings not working

    I have set the screen time restrictions for my child's profile via my family settings online. These time restrictions are not taking effect on my child's Xbox 1 profile. (I have reset, rebooted and confirmed the correct account is being used.)

    Xbox live privacy settings for Minecraft for a child.

    Before anyone asks. My child's profile is setup for Online Gameplay.

    Huh...never seen that. When you say "update child's profile" what exactly are you trying to do?

    I was trying to change Gamerpic using the website. We managed to change it on the Xbox One, though. Just odd that I can't do it on the website.

    Well best thing would be to change them on the console itself if you can't get the site to do it.

    Can't purchase content that isn't free.

    Got an update, By making emails and messing around with the microsoft families stuff, This account is now the 'Child' In a family to a new profile. I can't however get this profile to be listed as a child on the console family.

    I think the new system of creating child accounts on the web pretty much ensures the child will get a new random Gamertag. This may be a design oversight, but it seems that offline profiles can only be turned into adult Live Accounts, due to a child account's
    requirement of online profile creation. Hopefully this gets updated because I think the majority of longtime offline accounts turning Live would be child accounts.
