    update broke by xbox 1 gen 1


    how can i fix my xbox 1 gen 1 with updates. have reset the box to factory and still not installing the update. what can microsoft due with this new update that broke my xbox that was working fine prior to the update? i now have two ebox 1 gen 1. can not use the xbox's due to microsoft bad update for gen 1 xbox's.

    This is a next gen conconsole that came out a month and 14 days. I owned one the early 360. And it broke 6mos when I got it(1-1-2006). And this not MS thing anything like the XBOX ONE will not work well at first. Even the PS4 have issues too.

    I'll say this as nicely as I can that M went a-wol in certain areas of it's Xbox 1 console and just commenting about them. Many from the community are commenting about important features about Xbox which are currently not included on this gen's Xbox 1 console.
    They should release an update soon which makes Dolby available on Xbox 1. Because it IS available on Xbox 360 last gen's Xbox console but isn't quite there for this gen's Xbox console.

    jenkins, as Farscape mentioned, 3D TV is enabled only via HDMI per the current 3D protocol. Since the older consoles do not have these HDMI ports, then that would be the only reason they are not capable of 3D. We do apologize for the inconvenience, but this
    would be a strict technical limitation due to the lack of that port.
