Update beta

Why my console not update . I am in beta and lots of other beta people have updated why mine hasn't

(Closed) 2013 Xbox Live Update Xbox 360 Public Beta

Today, Major Nelson posted on his blog that they are accepting applications into the 2013 Xbox LIVE Update for Xbox 360 Public Beta.

Included

• Updates to overall performance
• Ability to conduct transactions with local currency (Microsoft Points being retired later this year)

The sign up process is directly through your Xbox 360 console to streamline the experience. Space is limited, so once the spots are filled the beta will be closed to the public.

To join, look for the Xbox Beta Program tile on the home hub of the Xbox Dashboard.

You will be required to agree to a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) for confidentiality reasons. For more details on the beta, they have a Beta FAQ posted here.

Anyone on Xbox LIVE in any of the 41 Xbox LIVE Enabled markets will be able to participate in the public beta for Xbox 360. Please not that members in Japan will have an opportunity to join at a later date.

Update: The beta registration has been closed due to overwhelming demand for participation. If they re-open registration, it will be posted on majornelson.com or tweeted by @majornelson on twitter.

They did say "a few days"...

I'm anxious for it, too, as the whole achievements thing is annoying and the preview adds snap achievements, but there's so much to play on Steam due to the summer sale that I can be patient.

 

When the updates release, it always takes a few days for them to get it out to everyone - be patient; it will come.

 

The new update is mint(Did I use it right UK friends?) Achievement snapping is very handy. Hopefully Friends is next

 

Yes the update is in 2 waves, the 2nd will be out soon, and it is indeed mint 24.

trust me you DO NOT want the update there are 2 bugs one is a black screen at start up and the other is if you have a static IP and u do a hard reboot it gets rid of ur static IP and stops u going on xbl till u fix it i was on the phone to virgin media for
