Update and game download speeds

Good morning all

i have a persistent issue with xbox download speeds at rhe minute, where by i am achieving speeds around 20kbps when i have a tested downlod speed of over 500mbps.

Does anyone have any experiance of this? What could be causing it?

I find downloads go faster if you exit the game you are playing have loaded

MS has applied some restrictions on the downloads due to an increase in the overall downloads due to COVID-19 but this seems to be something different. Kindly advise if you are an Xbox Insider?

I do know that downloads are slowed down significantly if there is a

game open; although, this seems to be a different issue.

Like the other users basically already said, can you provide us with some more information. Does it drop randomly or stay that low the whole time?
